Tactical facility planning includes translation of the strategic facility plan into real projects and ongoing activities. Typical tasks include:

• Planning of major moves of people and equipment
• Weekly incremental move planning and coordination
• Budgeting, scheduling, and coordination a series of construction projects of various types, both large and small
• Space planning standards for density, furniture, features, and amenities
• Maintaining occupancy reports and databases using CAD (Computer-aided drafting) and CAFM systems (Computer-aided facility management). These are used in planning moves, forecasting future space needs, and managing internal transfer and “chargeback” systems

Our planners work with customers to manage projects, implement new systems, and manage facilities. Depending on customer needs and preferences, we work under hourly, project, or outsourcing contracts.
